Our office
is committed to the total health and well-being of your child and to
preventive dentistry. We utilize state-of-the-art technology in the
diagnosis and treatment of our patients' needs.
Pediatric Dentistry
A pediatric dentist is a specialist who is dedicated to the oral health
of infants, children, teens, young adults and special needs patients. Pediatric dentists have
an additional two to three years of specialty training after dental school.
This training allows them to provide the most up-to-date and thorough
treatment for a wide variety of children's dental problems. They are trained
and qualified to treat special needs patients who may have emotional,
physical or mental challenges. A pediatric dentist is concerned about total
health care and good oral health and often works with pediatricians, other
physicians and other dental specialists.
Office Hours
Regular office hours are 8:00 A.M. to 5:00
P.M. Monday through Friday. The office is
closed on weekends and major holidays.
Appointments are necessary. The doctors are
available in the event of a dental emergency
and will respond promptly to emergencies
occurring at a time outside of regular
office hours.
Scheduling an Appointment
Appointments
are required.
Please call in advance so that a time
may be reserved for your child. Our office number is
(513) 423-9239.
As a pediatric practice, we see
children and often need to schedule
appointments during school hours. We will provide a school excuse upon
request. We make every effort to be on time
for our patients and ask that you extend the
same courtesy to us.
If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately. This makes it possible to give the reserved appointment time to
another patient who desires it.

Staying with Your Child During Their Dental Visit
We invite you to stay with your child during the
initial examination. During future appointments, we suggest you allow our staff
to accompany your child through the dental experience. We can usually
establish a closer rapport with your child when you are not present. Our
purpose is to gain your child's confidence and overcome apprehension.
However, if you choose, you may come with your child to the treatment room.
For the safety and privacy of all patients, other children who are not being
treated should remain in the reception room with a supervising adult.

Our Office Policy
Regarding Dental Insurance
Insurance
Our goal is to assist you in maximizing your insurance benefits to receive
quality dental care. We care for patients with insurance from many
employers. Each plan is slightly different in its covered services. We
encourage you to become familiar with your policy's exclusions, deductibles,
annual maximums and required copayments.
Our courtesy service to you includes:
electronically filing your insurance claim
within 24 hours of your visit and requesting payment of your benefit to our
office; re-filing your claim within 30 days if necessary; and following the
American Dental Association guidelines for coding procedures and filing
claims.
Our expectations of you as the owner of the policy include:
paying fees not covered by your plan at the time treatment
is performed; paying your account balance if your insurance
company does not pay within 45 days; realizing that dental
insurance policies may use restricted fee schedules and
may exclude some procedures - all restrictions are based
on the premium paid for insurance and not on our fees or
recommended treatment; and keeping our office informed of
any changes in your insurance coverage or employment.
Medical Card Coverage
Those children receiving Medicaid must bring a
current medical card to each visit. Medicaid will pay
for eligible dental services as long as the child is covered
by the program.
